There is a war going on all around us. No really. But it is probably not the one you are thinking of. And it is certainly not the one you are hearing about from the media. No! It is a war between two kingdoms - the world's kingdom under the control of the evil one, and the Kingdom of God ruled by the King of kings and Lord of lords. ALL the other battles in our culture and in our world are simply a symptom of this war.
"Come out of her My people..." — Revelation 18.4
The Church has been sung a lullaby by Satan, and we have fallen asleep in ways we don't even realize. We have embraced the ways of this world and it has weakened our witness. "Politics" - the socioeconomic, political system - has become the new religion of this world. And the Church has embraced this way of thinking without even knowing it.
It is time for the remnant to WAKE UP!
This is why CrossTrain Church is doubling down on training people to teach God's truth in the context of redemptive community.
We need to filter all we see through the lens of the Word, not the beliefs of this world!
