Hola Famigos,
"Hallelujah! Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; His faithful love endures forever." — Psalm 106:1
This October, i6eight has celebrated 10 years of God's faithfulness at Pan de Vida!
In 2014, the Lord delighted to use i6eight and a woman named Celia to open an outdoor soup kitchen to feed the hungry children in the community of San Rafael in Puerto Peñasco. For ten years, our faithful God has provided for the food, maintained a safe space, and sustained the hands that serve.
Today, Pan de Vida is open to any and all who are hungry for the Word of God or a plate of warm food, including many people who live on the street, isolated from family, and battling with addiction.
We wanted to give a special thanks to Pastor Doug for mentoring session that he provided for the i6eight leadership team.
Every week, all of the ministry leaders come together to study Scripture and plan upcoming events, but these meetings can often be a time of discipleship. Saturday morning, before the event, Doug led us through an excellent conversation about some of the hardships encountered in ministry. Being able to share the burden of the difficult things and rejoice in the happy things is one of the most beautiful features of the family of God.
It was a huge blessing for all of us to share in the wisdom of a seasoned co-laborer for Christ. We had several of our local ministry leaders share with us how encouraging the teaching was.
