That line fromO Holy Night, written in 1843, rings SO TRUE in our world today. ComI got out of the past couple years, we need the good news of CHRISTmas now more than ever. Let's encourage, not only one another, but our neighbors, coworkers, classmates, friends and family this Christmas by opening up our homes (or our yards) to a Community Christmas event we call "Christmas Under the Stars."
Keep it simple.
Make some invitations (or send some texts)
Make some coffee and hot chocolate.
Bake some cookies.
Set out some chairs.
Start a fire.
Sing some carols.
Show a Christmas Movie (Charlie Brown Christmas is great!)
Any and all of the above are GREAT. But, most of all, bathe it in prayer and see how the Holy Spirit shows up!
