As we come off the mountain from our 10th annual All Church Retreat where we focused on helping others follow Christ, and with two weeks until the election, we want to invite you into an opportunity to lift our nation, state and neighborhoods to the throne of grace in prayer TOGETHER.
First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. – 1 Timothy 2:1–4
We know this land is NOT our HOME. We look forward to a heavenly homeland. However, we are called to prayer for the land in which God has placed us!
Seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf; for in its welfare you will have welfare. — Jeremiah 29:7

Some additional ideas:
Walk your neighborhood each morning or evening and prayer for each home. If you see your neighbor, let them know you are praying for them and ask them if there is anything specific they need prayer for?
Do the same thing in a park, at the mall, downtown, at your school, place of work, etc.
Invite others to join you to pray at the State Capital, City Hall, etc. and then grab a bite to eat together afterwards.
WHAT TO PRAY?
There are 2 weeks until the election. We are going to be INTENTIONAL about prayer for our nation during that time.
Monday - Lord, humble us as a nation, drive us to seek your face, and help us to turn from our wicked ways. (2 Chronicles 7:14-15)
Tuesday - Jesus, place your covering over the spiritual wickedness in high places, so that the enemy is bound. (Eph 6:12)
Wednesday - Abba, place your hand upon the masterminds behind all the rioting and unrest, confuse their plans making their wickedness unsuccessful. (Psalm 55:9)
Thursday - Yaweah protect our President while you saturate the American people and this election with your super natural peace. (1 Timothy 2:2)
Friday - Thank you Lord for our enemies and those who despitefully use us. Meet them on their road to Damacus, blinding them with your glory, and saving their soul from hell. (Matthew 5:44)
Saturday - King Jesus, shield our law enforcement, who are tasked with standing in the gap against the physical side of the darkness coming against us. (Psalm 144:1-2)
Sunday - I choose you this day Lord, to serve. Open my eyes to the real battle, so that I may join with you on the front lines today. (Joshua 24:15)
