Out of many... ONE.

E Pluribus Unum is God's design from end to end

And they sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth.”” — Revelation 5:9–10

Unity in the midst of diversity speaks loudly of gospel glory. So let us be a people who preserve and promote the unity of the Holy Spirit.

I mentioned last week an incredible work by author Carl Trueman, 'The Rise and Triumph of the Modern Self'. It is a well researched and thought out discussion about how we have arrived at this current cultural moment. I highly recommend it. We need to be well informed about the culture if we are to engage the culture to see people called into the Kingdom. SO HOW?

“We can’t out-argue the world…What we can do, though, is out-narrate the world by providing a more beautiful story and stronger communities than the world does. —Carl Trueman

If you want to get a sample of what Trueman has to share, here is a short article from my school that gives as great glimpse. TAKE A LOOK.
