Here is an update on the progress for moving into our new space
Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. — Exodus 40:34
Greetings and grace to you faith family. I will try to do a better job of keeping you updated on the progress of getting us into the new space we have secured. There are still many steps that must be completed before we can gather in our new home.
But first I want to make sure we all never lose sight of the fact that this is not about a building that will be a church, but about a place to train people to teach God's truth in the context of community SO THAT we can GO and BE the light and salt He has saved us to be. This is THE great need in the church as His glorious Day draws near.
After many unexpected delays, we have secured the space with the landlord and have begun the process of making the location our official church address. It is 21469 N. 78th Ave. Suite #150. Peoria, AZ 85382 (78th Avenue south of Deer Valley).
Our architect (which was a blessing of God to find) has done a wonderful job laying out the space and we have begun what little demolition we are able to complete prior to the plan being approved by the City (images below). We have seen the Spirit orchestrate some amazing things already! There are glory-stories in abundance. He has provided us everything from lighting and flooring and paint (all of which are required to receive City approval) for a fraction of what it should cost us. He has given us experts in the field that are being abundantly gracious in giving us their time and knowledge to make this all come together as quickly, cheaply, and functionally as possible. And people within the FRamily are eagerly assisting how they can. More opportunities for this will be coming. It will take many of us to 'move this tabernacle.' But I know you will graciously answer the call. Praise the LORD! 🙏🏻
POINTS OF PRAYER
There is much to pray for in regards to the next couple months and moving the tabernacle. Please join with me and the leadership in praying for these things regularly:
That the engineers needed for the project — electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire/alarm, etc. would complete their work quickly and inexpensively.
Once this is done, that the architect would pull the the submittal package for the City of Peoria together quickly and economically.
That the City would be favorable to the project, see it as a blessing to the community, and quickly approve our plans so we can begin construction and see the ‘tabernacle' raised in 52 days!
That the Holy Spirit would already begin to move on the hearts of our FRamily (and the surrounding community) to show us how He will use this space to train others to teach God’s truth, reveal His glory and grow His Kingdom, not just on Sunday’s, but throughout the week. There is MASSIVE POTENTIAL for GOSPEL ADVANCE!
Here are some images that don't do justice to who the space will be used.
MUCH LOVE and keep looking UP! - Luke 21.28
I love seeing all that the LORD is doing. I sure do love His church!
