Christ's message is not DO but DONE!
The Gospel is the story God has been telling from the time things began to die in the garden. And it is HIS-story He will keep telling faithfully until we return there in the New Heaven and New Earth.
From DEATH to LIFE! That's the Gospel!
And He wants to make HIS-story known through YOU!
For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. — 2 Corinthians 4:6
Friday at 6:30pm we will see the last 7 sayings of Jesus, share in songs of reflection, come to communion, and then place our nail in His cross.
Then Sunday we will see how the empty tomb not only promises us, BUT EMPOWERS US, to truly live!
This Resurrection Weekend we look to Christ's death on the cross and then to the NEW LIFE proclaimed from an empty tomb!
Time is SHORT! Eternity is LONG!
Hell is still HOT! And the gospel still SAVES!
LET'S LEARN, AND LIVE AND LEAN INTO THE GOSPEL!
