Wow! As I watched the whole service online today I thought a couple things: online is not in any way, shape or form the same (but I am glad we had it) as being there in person! God has blessed us with a faithful FRamily that long to be together.
Thank you for all the prayers and for all the notes last week too. I am still not feeling well, but God is keeping my focus on the things that matter. Please keep praying for the many who are ill right now. And let's not let that distract us from the charge to gather and to grow and to go and make disciples! Time is still short and eternity still long. Hell is still hot and Jesus still saves! SO LET'S SHARE HIM!!!
For reasons I won't go into hear, I not only changed up the Daily Readings to coincide with Jeff's power-filled message, but I have added a week to our 'Holiday Series' we were going to start on Thanksgiving Week and then let that lead us into Advent. But this section of Romans is weighty and I don't want to start the rest of the chapter if I cannot finish it.
So, beginning NEXT SUNDAY, we will start the series, 'The Weary World Rejoices' and I will teach a couple of messages on Thankfulness to get us prepared for Thanksgiving. Then we will spend the rest of 2022 in the Advent Season looking at the HOPE-PEACE-LOVE-JOY-FAITH found in the coming of our Great King!!!
I sure hope you will make every effort to join us and invite some new people. This is a perfect time!
We are a people committed to training to teach God's truth. The BEST way to make that happen is to get God's Word into you as you get into God's Word!
Here are THE ADJUSTED readings to help you do just that this week!
